Dr. James Glick, a San Francisco orthopedic surgeon in practice for over 40 years, is known internationally for the development of arthroscopic surgical techniques. An early pioneer of knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow and hip arthroscopy, he developed widely used surgical techniques and instrumentation for hip arthroscopy and ankle arthroscopy. A clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco, he has authored numerous articles for medical journals and textbooks. Dr. Glick is also a popular lecturer, consultant and medical/legal evaluator for arthroscopic development and orthopedic issues.
